I'd made a backup of my documents using the inbuilt Microsoft backup utility, and today had to use the backup. When I tried to access the my documents folder I couldn't I got a message saying the folder is unaccessable access is denied.
I went into safe mode and changed the permissions for the folder and can now access the folder but......
Inside my documents are all the folders from the backup and all the contents of the folders (either all the contents of the folders or copies of the folder contents). If I try to open a folder, document or what ever I get the message the folder is unaccessable access is denied.
Does this mean I have to go through every folder setyting permissions or is there a quicker way? System restore makes no doifference.
