I have been asked to produce some banners for a 50th birthday party. I have prepared the image, which I wish to print on A4 micro-perforated continuous paper. The banner is to be seven continuous A4 sheets, ie 210mm high X 2080mm wide. The driver for the R200 allows custom sizes, but for some reason the minimum is 890mm x 890mm. How can I set the printer to print 210mm x 2080mm?
I have tried printing, and it only prints part of the image. The units are 0.01cm or 0.01in. This means that the 'page' is practically four sheets of A4, end to end. The printer however insists on printing the centre of the image, meaning the first and last 1.5 sheets of the image are not printed at all.
Having tried just about everything I could think of I did the decent thing and gave up. I redesigned the image and printed it in three sections, which can be stuck together. Not ideal, but a workaround.
I would really like to find out how to hack the driver to allow eight sheet end to end printing.
