Entry Point Warning Message

My operating system is Windows XP and my service provider is BT Yahoo!

I have had both for nearly a year without a problem.

However, today each time I switch on my computer or resume from standby I a warning box appears on the screen.

The greyed-out title is - Smart Bridge Alerts:BTHelpNotifier:exe - Entry Point Not Found.

The message reads - The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL.

I can remove the warning box and the computer and internet then seems to work normally.

I did install a new Explorer Browser 7 today as a result of a Microsoft update prompt although this is not my default browser - is my BTYahoo! browser.

I can only assume that my installing the Explorer Browser is in some way responsible for the warning notice.

I have no idea what the warning notice really means or whether I should be concerned.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sixth paragraph should read:

I did install a new Explorer Browser 7 today as a result of a Microsoft update prompt although this is not my default browser - my default browser is my BTYahoo! browser.
