End of programme cc-App

Running win xp home and when I logout I always get a message in a box: End of programme cc-App.
It states any work unsaved will be lost and runs the blue guage across and closes down normally.

Anyone know what's happening?

I think its to do with Norton Anti-virus email scanner

Yes,it is a Norton "thing". I think the CC stands for Common Client,I have noticed it when downloading updates from Symantec.
The only time it ran as you describe, was when one of their updates went haywire and I had to get help via email from them.
Is your system working o.k. apart from this?

my system is working fine aside from the listed message appearing when I logout.

Well as they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
But since the problem with Symantec download was fixed on mine,I don't see when I log off.
Try a search on Symantec site.

Try this....open Norton and click on the options for youre antivirus.Click on Autoprotect and select advanced.Make sure that the box for "scan floppy discs in A: for viruses when shutting down" is unticked then ok out of Norton. That will probably do the trick.

I have NIS 2005 and ccApp comes up as described on my system, not often tho. It's not much of a problem, safe enough.

Thanks gudgulf, I'll follow your advice and see how things go.
