Hi All,

Using winXP home. Sometimes when I collect emails I get the AVG scanner showing its connecting to 'Tiscali.co.uk' to get them. I use NTL broadband and have never loaded anything to do with Tiscali onto my PC.

Using the search in XP I found nothing.

Using regedit in
HKEY Users/
S-1-5-21-1715567821-11300-7714-725345543-1004
Software/ Microsoft/ ACMru/ 5603

I found

Name (default) REG_57 value not set

000 REG_S7 Tiscali.

Is this whats causing the problem?
Can I delete it?

or is it part of winxp home?

Mike

I think that you've answered your own question, but I suggest that you take a back-up of your registry and then delete the offending item.

Hi Jackcoms, thanks for the advice. I just wanted to confirm I was doing the right thing.
