Ive had 9 E-mails over the past week from a guy called "robbie" all 45kb attatchments, and all the classic sighns of a virus.

Several of my friends have had the same thing and one was unfortunate enough to open the attatchment it contained I-Worm/yaha.m virus and completeley erased Norton.

Everyone on my address list has been contacted by myself and they are all clean. I dont recognise the Email address either.

Be carefull out there!!

Symantec emailed over a week ago to warn about this "new" virus and advised updating my virus definitions.

"....and completeley erased Norton" suggests that the problem was your friends virus definitions were out of date rather than Norton failing to do its job.

I too suspect that your friends virus definitions must have been out of date. There was another virus definitions update this morning for NAV.
