emailing problem

I have tried to send a friend copies of slide shows with music - produced in Windows Movie Maker - one at a time and of average size 12Mb . They take ages to add in Tiscali email but eventually a message confirms that the email has been sent and a copy is added to the 'sent' folder . However , none have ever actually arrived at their destination .
I am not very clued up on such matters . Can anybody confirm that it is possible to carry out this action or are there restrictions on file types and content etc that can be sent by email ?

Thanks .

Your friend may have a limit on their inbox size. If you have some webspace, upload the files there and send your friend a link.

Alternatively, stick the files on a CD and post it to your friend.

He may have a limit on the size of is inbox, you may need to use a third party e-mail client
