Email Worm Warning

  igk 20:18 09 Apr 2008

Be advised, there are a host of emails going around warning people of
explosions at nuclear reactors in their area. I've received one about an
"incident" at Sizewell B that has meant that an area of 100km radius is
being evacuated.

If you get one of these emails, just delete it. The link to an information
page will attempt to install a new worm on your computer. Apparently the
worm is so new that AV software cannot yet find it. Expect that to be
rectified within 24 hours. Just be careful for the time being and this time
tomorrow run your AV suite updater.

if you untilise the gem of a program called mailwasher click here

you can preview via the preview system IN mailwasher all e mails on your server, see what is there and delete from server via the mailwasher preview tab all these unwanted e mails ; thus keep possible infectious and unwanted emails OFF your computer; very simple really ;why not try it and see for yourself?
