Email text far to large

  micklemouse 18:08 29 Jun 2004

Why can't I email my scanned page without the size altering? I have read that it should be sent as a .MAX file but I can't find any way to change it from .jpeg. The sheet it in text form with borders - no pics.

Please anybody ?

When you have scanned it, do you use any OCR software or are you simply saving it as an image?

*.Max Files are produced by Paper Port click here document managment software. If you don't have it, you won't be able to produce a *.max file. A free *.max file reader is available from click here

The best format for text is not JPG, but GIF. Use JPG only if the document includes full colour graphics. 100 dpi with 16 colours or shades of grey is usually adequate.
