Hi guys, I've had a look around the forum and have found a couple of threads about setting up Microsoft outlook to work with sky broadband. There are instructions to do this but only for your sky email.
I have recently purchased Microsoft outlook 2007 and I send emails from info@josephwareing rather than a sky email address. I've been able to set it up so I can receive incoming emails using POP3 but when I enter the smtp as smtp.tools.sky.com and follow their instructions to set it up it asks me for a sky email address login and won't let me use my joseph wareing one.
When setting it up, can you not log in with your actual "sky" address (presumably for SMTP Authentication, which will also require your "sky" password) but still use your personal domain address in the outgoing messages?
...or does Sky's SMTP server only allow you to send messages with a Sky email address?
