Outlook Express 6. Win XP Pro. Broadband NTL.

I cannot understand why I'm getting the Logon box when I choose to open to read mail.

I have another PC working correctly and not wirelessed. The settings in both are identical but as stated the other PC works fine.

Please help

Thank you Vog for your support, I tried the alterations without success.

Just wondering whether I can reload Win XP Pro again since I have a problem with my System Restore as well.

This new Sys Res problem concerns an Error Box which reads...

System Restore has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience etc.

AppName: rstrui.exe AppVer 5.1.2600.2180
Modname srrstr.dll Modver 5.1.2600.2180

As I say, I would like to reload Win XP but recently I've had to sort out a defective Soltek MB and four oldish hard drives.

My embarrassment is once again having to Activate and I'm sure they are starting to suspect I'm up to something !!

If I reload Win, will I have to re-activate?

Kindest regards Derek Miles.
