I know how to use Bcc, but how do I insert a list of say, 40 addresses, without typing each one individually !

I know one can set up a list and give it a title and use the title in the Bcc line but how do I do it !

I would appreciate some help !

Which email client are you using?

If you are using Outlook express do it this way: open outlook express double click address book then click New and choose New Group. There is a box to write in the name of the group. Click the Select members box and your complete address book will open. Scroll to the one(s) you want, click it to highlight it then click the "select" button and that name will appear in a new list . Continue until you've included all you need; then click OK.
To use the list, put the group name, not the individual people , in the To or Cc or Bcc line.
The group name will be found in your address book.
In Windows Mail (Vista) it's similar except that address bk is called contacts, etc. But the method is the same.

Hi Sea Urchin, I use Eudora (no bcc), Mozilla Thunderbird and Windows mail.

Hi Palinka, I will take up your suggestion re Vista mail and let you know the result - be a few days though.

Many thanks, Colin

that's good.
How about ticking "Resolved" so others know it's sorted out.
