When I send an email with an attachment to anyone as many as 57 copies of that one email are received by the person - when I check as the email is being sent I can see it says how many emails are being sent yet I will only have sent the one email. This does not happen when I send an email without an attachment. I have Sophos antivirus software but it has not detected any
Can anyone help?

Anne, and one of us will try to sort this out. Don't make any change of email client - Outlook or Outlook Express are fine, and will not, in themselves, be the cause of the problem.

Can you try sending an email - with an attachment - to yourself, and tell us what happens?

Great advice, but change "Outlook or Outlook express" anyway.
