Email attachment problems

Help....I am sending emails to people and my mail system is attaching an attachment that I havent told it to.The mail dosent show that it has an attachment when I send it. How ever when it arrives it has an attachment called "image001.gif(236 B)"
Any help would be a gr8 help.

What exactly is the image when they open it? Is it malicious or just blank?

Do a virus scan. It looks like you may be infected.

I've done a virus scan with all the lastest updates that Norton offer and it finds nothing

In Outlook Express go TOOLS>OPTIONS>Compose Tab Is there anything selected in stationery such as the file you mentioned?

In your picture files do you have a file under this name?

Taff your a star m8. It was to do with stationary.
All sorted now.
