Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. My pal runs a sizeable contracting company and currently uses paper Purchase Orders in triplicate. He is seeking to produce them via his company computers so that he can email a PDF copy to his suppliers and file other copies within the client job file and other relevant departments within his company.
One of the requirements is that each time a new P. Order is produced, is that it is automaticallysequentially numbered. The decision seems to be between producing something locally like a word template, but I don't know if they can be automatically sequentially numbered? The alternative may be to purchase custom built software that does the job. Can anyone recommend software of this type? Any advice would be gratefully received.
