EISA Partition removal

I have a c and d drive and both have an empty partition EISA Configured (no letter). Computer is an Acer F5 but have has Vista Business upgrade. Acer Recovery was removed quite a while ago and now have Acronis 11.Partitions are 5gb and could do without them but how?

The EISA partition is part of Vista and will NOT have a letter allocated. It should not be removed from the drive that has the operating system installed on it.

As far as the other drive is concerned it can be removed as long as no other Vista o/s is installed on it.

Many thanks for that Pine Man. Reason it is on both drives is I had early problems with Vista upgrade and tried it on both HD's.
