Ebedding google map into web page

I visited a web site that had a street map on a page with push pins showing various locations, a personalised street map. Any ideas how this is done?

Which webdesign program are you using? Do you mean a map of a particular area of your choice? -I have put on Google maps of specific areas by finding the place in Google and then clicking on top right where it says 'link to this page' You should then get two options and the bottom one says 'paste html to embed in website'. You need to be able to access the html code for your site, hence my first question. Just copy and paste their code and it should appear.

Webassist make an extension for Dreamweaver that makes it nice and easy and very functional. Haven't tried it myself, but might be useful for you.
