Hi,
I have just got a solo debit card. Now what I am just wondering. is do you have to be 18 to bid on items and buy it now?
I know you have to be 18 or over to sell but is it the same to just buy items, is there that option in registration and option to sell when 18?

Thanks
Ben

this depends on what you buy, i see no problem if you buy things which aren't above your age. Have a look at ebays rules.

i have just checked the rules and you can if you have parent/guardian supervision, happy spending!

No. No parental supervision needed either. Verification not allowed until adult(18).

ebay quote

'If you are under 18 years old, you can use this service only in conjunction with and under the supervision of a parent or guardian.'

“While using the Sites, you will not:

Use the Sites if you are not able to form legally binding contracts, are under the age of 18, or are temporarily or indefinitely suspended from our Sites;”

You need to be 18 to form Legally binding contracts as with credit cards etc.

you could just get your parents to buy you an item then you give them the money?
