How do I multiply the contents of column A by, say, 2, to give the results in column B.

In cell B1, insert the function PRODUCT e.g.

=PRODUCT(A1,$E$1)

Cell E1 should contain the multiplier. Click on cell B1 then drag the square at the bottom right of the box to put this formula in other cells in row B.

In cell B1 just put =A1*2 (or whatever other multiplier you wish to use.

This really was an easy question or have I missed something here!!!
