basically my sisters laptop is an e-system laptop running on vista (dont get me started on that) and basically she ran out of memory on it and tried to uninstall things but its going crazy.

when it loads it keeps trying install various programmes i guess they are including tray app...not even sure what they all are.

its randomly now saying that when i try to open a word documetn it wont work

i;m now uninstalling everything i can think of with revo to wipe it all clean and start from scratch but its taking ages and some stuff wont uninstall it says it needs to find a file but it cant and hence some stuff i dont think uninstall sproperly.

any help on how to try to solve this would be ace

thanks for those - she has a 40GB hard drive but when i go to my computer and click on the C drive it says that her C drive has only got 30.3gb of space on it and having got nothing but AVG on it says that there is only 8.36gb of space on it.

is there any way of seeing what else is on there that is taking up space and can hence be deleted
