E-mail Word Wrap

  morddwyd 07:26 12 Aug 2010

I use Yahoo mail and normally have no problem, but recently had a message that doesn't word wrap and has to be massively scrolled (6 times, full screen width!) to read.

It's the only message that I can recall with this problem, and it happens with any computer and any browser.

Other than cut and paste into Word, how can I make this message more easily readable?

Unless deliberately truncated at about 72 characters per line, each paragraph of an email is normally sent as a single line of text. It is the recipient's email program which then wraps the text to the size of their particular window.

It may be that this message is corrupted so that it isn't being wrapped to the screen size. Try to copy/paste it into a word processor (Word or Wordpad) which should wrap the text and let you read it more easily.
