E-Mail problem

  Grandad D 19:02 02 Jul 2003

Hi, At work we have at the moment just a normal dial up connection. Broadband is not yet in the area. Over the last day or so when we try to receive e-mails it logs on and then when it gets to receiving number 3 of say 44 it takes forever and then disconects. It is alway no 3. Am I right in thinking there may be a problem with this no 3 mail and it wont check the rest. Any ideas how we can get past this please. Thanks, Dennis

What ISP are you using, is there any chance of using web mail like you can do with a lot of servers.

someone has sent you.

There is a thread somewhere in the mid part of last month, but I cannot remember it's title

If you go to the TOOLS menu, you can select MESSAGE RULES and then click on NEW.

Scroll down the options and you will see "If the message is larger than ...."

Here you can then enter a size limit. This might enable you to see if it is the size of the file which is causing the problem.

Hope this helps.
