E-mail Links

  bluto1 21:23 12 Nov 2006

I`ve received several e-mails with attachments containing (click here) links. When I click here all I get is a page with only a tiny red x in the top left hand corner. I`m running Win XP SP2. Is this a problem on my PC? Any help appreciated.

This is a security default setting in sp2 bluto

Many thanks for the links but I forgot to add that I use Incredimail and it seems to me that the links are for OE only. Am I right?

As you know, never click any link if you don't know the sender of the email.

A valid point, but I know who these e-mails are from.

Firstly try updating your Java bluto click here

Looks like a few bugs in Incredimail ...try updating your version Bluto.

I still think its an sp2 problem though.

- Images may not display by default. From Incredimail's main menu, click on Tools>>Options. Click the Security tab. Remove the checkmark next to "Block external images (recommended)" and from "Do not warn me about external images." Click the OK button.

It all seems to be OK now, so I`ll thank you skidzy, click resolved, and bid you all good night. To absent Friends!
