Sorry listers, I believe these questions have been answered before over the last few months but I simply can't find them in the archive.

1 How do I stop the computer disconnecting when I start 'Outlook Express'; and

2 I am using XP Home. I want to make OE my default mail handler. However, no matter how many times I click 'apply' and then 'OK' in the 'General' section of'Options' this doesn't take effect. What can be amiss please?

Best wishes.

AndySD. Try this in OE click Tools then Options. Then Connection click Change then Programs..What is it showing in 'E-mail'? If it is not OE try altering it on the drop down box. You can always alter it back..Lap..
