Dynamic to Basic

I am formatting and putting the OS back on my PC. The thing is the hard drive has become dynamic somehow and I want it back to basic. Can I do this during formatting?

Dynamic to basic? these terms do not really apply to HDD formatting..

For a HDD to support an Operating system it must be PRIMARY any other partition can be LOGICAL.

What ever you are formatting with should give you these options...

options to convert here...

I cant do that as it is the volume that I am currently on. I want to convert back to basic because once I have done the format etc I want to back up with True Image and that doesnt support Dynamic disks.
