bought a dvr a couple of months ago and have damaged the disk, which no i am unable to back up my video footage does any one know where i can get some more software or does neone have it them selfs

Your main Problems is if you do not Have drivers, You can get software that will work with the Camera But you should make sure to get drivers from site and put them on a disc. For dv editing you can buy Pinnacle Studio. You can get free programs of Mag CD's or DVD's Like DvdMaker. if you are on XO ther is Microsoft fre Movi Maker

its a cctv dvr recorder and its the softwaer for the pc i have lost that lets me upload the files from the dvr to the pc

i wish i know that myself there is no make on the dvr just the cd has (DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER)

With nothing to go on Lauren,its going to be nearly impossible to find out exactly what software you require.

Have you installed this software before on the pc,if so...why do you need it again...Have you done a recovery or deleted the software.
