DVI-D or VGA

A very quick question.

My New monitor came with both a DVI-D and VGA connection cable for connecting to the PC tower. Is one better to use than the other or does it not really matter?

Use the digital interface if your graphics card's backplate has it.

As ade.h has said if your graphic card has the DVI output then use it, if not then don't worry about it. DVI is meant to give a better picture but I haven't been able to see much difference.

That is a relief as that is the one I used without knowing it was better. Saves a switch over.

Cheers
