DVD+RW problem

Hello, As a test, I burned about 20 secs of video onto a DVD+RW disc. I now wish to erase those files, but am confused at what is happening. With the disc in the drive that shows the disc to be a DVD that recorded the video files from a JVC GR-D20 mini DV camcorder, I right click on the drive. In the drop down that appears, the only choice I have to delete the files is Erase this CD-RW. Any ideas on how to change the CD-RW to DVD+RW. Win XP Home SP3. I thank you in advance of any ideas. Good night.

Windows XP cannot delete/format or write to a DVD+RW disk without something like Nero. If you open the program you used to write to the disk you should also have the option to erase the disk.
