dvd in windows media player

  oseven 21:19 04 May 2004

For some reason I cannot get sound when playing dvd's in media player.I get the video but no audio. If I play a music cd in the dvd drive sound is ok.
I can also play dvd with picture and sound in MSIDVD player, which was pre installed.
I have done all the obvious things like driver updates and checks on M/soft web but nothing works.
