Hi the experts
I have a Samsung DVD SD608 and have recently upgraded my OS to WIN2000. I have a 950MHz chip with 768MB RAM a 64MB Graphics card. The problem I am getting now is that the picture freezes for a few seconds then continues then eventually freezes and crashes. I get the blue screen of death with the message - ***STOP: 0xooooooo76 (0x00000000, 0xFE55D020, 0x00000001, 0x00000000) PROCESS_HAS_LOCKED_PAGES. I then have to restart my computer. I have looked on the Samsung site for any downloads relating to WIN2000 and my drive and also the Microsoft site, but nothing to suit my needs. Do I need to replace my DVD with a more up to date model or is there a fix for it on a site I am unaware of? I have disabled my broadband and all other active programs but still the same thing happens. Your views would be greatly appreciated

Hi Poweless, Thanks for your promt reply. I visited the Microsoft Knowledge Base and followed the instructions for locating the fault, i.e. ***STOP: 0x00000076 etc and got a response :-
***STOP: 0x000000CB (0XEB63435C, 0XEB6347EE7,

***ADDRESS EB63435C base at EB630000, DateStamp 377d563a - mpegport.SYS
***ADDRESS EB634EE7 base at EB630000, DateStamp 377d563a - mpegport.SYS
I am unable to identify where this driver is let alone delete it. Can you help or would it be too risky for me to attempt, I can follow most instructions.
