My Pioneer DVD-106S running on a XP SP2 system doesn't seem to recognise DVD's any more. It plays CD fine, but put a DVD in it and it seems to have a quick look at it and spits back out. Ideas?
as in dvds do you mean video dvds? or any dvds
Very good question, something I didn't think to check. Th answer is both, data & video.
If works for CD but not DVDSounds like DVD laser burnt out or controller us.Time to buy a new DVD player approx £30 not worth repairing
I had one of those, same problems. Did as Fruit Bat said, invested in a new one.
