Having created a video in Windows Movie Maker and saved it to a variety of disks (DVD-RW, CD-RW)it plays OK on the computer but my it won't on my DVD player. Any thoughts?
Sounds as if you have not finalised the disks so they will not play on the dvd player.
You are right. How do I do that?
I am using rewrite disks. It wont let me finalise. Any other thoughts?
Nero vision express is what I use, and I do not use rewritable disks.Nero can convert the format to dvd unlike windows movie maker which I believe does not.
Have found a web site thats confirms you can not make a DVD to play on a conventional DVD player direct from Windows Movie Maker. You have to use Roxio or Nero. Any other thoughts
Alfred yes make your movie in wmm export as AVI this will be a very large file about 13G/Gbyte yes 13 for about 1 hour then use this freebie to burn to dvd click here
Thanks eedcam. The down load you suggested worked a treat and it was free.
