hello anyone ive recently purchased a dvd writer but no software came with it and im wondering what is the best software available at present???

Nero 6 is my favourite; I use 5.5 at present on one machine and it is excellent. But as 6 is the newest, I think it has a lot of enhancements.

basically all i want is a simple software package that copies one dvd to another including copyright protected dvd's.

steveooo - you asked for DVD burning software which is why I suggested nero.

I don't know about copying "copyright protected dvd's".

DVD Shrink (Freeware) & Nero 6. Simple to use & no coasters yet.

Just checked my Nero 6 and, although I don't have a DVD burner yet the only option for DVD I have is MiniDVD. What is a mini DVD? Apologies to steveooo.
