When I burn a video file to DVD some of the files become out of sync with each other...audio and video. I have Nero 6 and have updated to the latest version but it is still happening. When I play the file through Win Media Player 10 all i needed was a codec and now it plays fine. Not all files are affected....please help!!!

Try reverting wmp back to v9 then reinstalling v10. If nothing else this will bump u.

To roll back WMP 10 - click here

However i also have the same problem with Nero 6 - suspect the Nero as it doesn't matter what you play it through, the audio suddenly slips....

this is caused by the audio having a variable bitrate. The only way around it is to extract the audio as a WAV file using VirtualDub click here
and recombine it with the video track at the encoding stage.
However I don't know if this can be done in Nero as I don't use it.
TMPEG will allow you to do thisclick here
there is a free download to try for a limited period.
