I have 1000's of different cells on a spreadsheet. Is there a formula I can apply to the entire sheet (well just column 'B' really) so that it advises me of any duplicated numbers, like changing colour or something? Thanks.

I can't use the find feature as like I said there are thousands of different possibilities. And Noldi thanks but I can only access certain websites so I can't read your link.
My link was to the Microsoft excel help page. Searching "Find duplicate cells" Noldi
Select your data. Format > Conditional formatting, select Formula Is and enter=COUNTIF(B:B,B1)>1then set your format and OK your way out.
That worked a treat thanks VoG.
