Dummy Virus- Dangerous Territory!

This may be a totaly ridiculous question but hell, I've got this far!

I am wanting to do a bit of teaching on a PC I have just built and will be handing over to an un PC literate bod next week.

I want to show them how to deal with incoming viruses and what they look like.

The machine has got an antivirus progran installed but rather than forward one of the many I get to him I wondered if there was anything that we could send between the machines to trigger a 'dummy' response.

Or am I just being a dummy?

Cheers, Epirb.

Waste o'time. Just get a decent AV such as AVG. There is no need to deal with incoming viruses as AVG and others will do it for you. There is little operator input.
