I have XP on the other.
can I use my broadband on the partion.
I have tried inserting the disk for virgin broadband, but get a error message.
Am I asking too much.

Thanks a lot

BB should work on nearly any OS

We may be able to help if we new the error message

Error message reads,

setup.ex has generated errors and will be closed by windows. you need to restart program.
an error log is being created.

I keep inserting the disk, but get the same message.

Have you installed all the service packs and updates for Windows 2000? Most software requires you have Service Pack 4 installed at least.
There is also a 33mb security rollup when SP4 has been installed (which is apparently on the MS site as Service Pack 5 since last month).

If you have your Account user name and passwords you do not need to use the CD. Go in to Control Panel Network Connections and create a new connection with the INFO you have Including ISP name

I am new to this, so need leading by the hand,

thank again. Tomtojo

Hi woodchip,

  woodchip 23:01 02 Jan 2007

You can only use one OS at a time, so you have two lots of files.
