Dual memory architecture

  ableddyn 12:11 21 May 2003

I have recently bought a new PC with an Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard. This has 2 DIMMS of 256MB PC2700 each.
There are 3 slots. Which slots need to be filled to take advantage of the n Force2 Dual memory architecture? Also are there any settings in the BIOS that need to be checked?

Thank you.

best regards,

download the manual click here . use slots one and two

Why buy the board when you know nothing about it?

I am currently building my machine and have the same board, still have not finished building my machine as working away from home and gradually buying parts so would not know everything about the board. But i'm sure you put the sticks in Slot 1 and Slot 3 to take advantage of the dual memory architecture.

Sorry could not be of more help

Forgot to add that I had a discussion on this board some time back and MartinT-B another PC Advisor Forum User gave me some good sites where they have discussions on this board. Thanks Mate
