Hi. I have a new PC running Vista HP 64x- Intel Q6600, Asus P5N-E SLI, nVidia 8600GT,4GB RAM, 500GB HDD. I'm loving Vista 64x but wish to try a dual boot with Ubuntu 7.10. I'm told that I need to create space on my HDD via Vista Partition Manager so I tried that. I found that I have 269GB free space but when I try the shrink tool I get "total available shrink space is MB 25282".
What am I doing wrong? Can I create a decent size partion area for Ubuntu?
Thanks, JOhn
