driver needed

  Tropezon 20:23 15 Apr 2007

I have a modem to instal model IF56A-CL/UK I think made by Intel and can't find a driver.
A Google search shows several people in US with same problem. Can anyone help?

For which operating system?

OS is Win98SE and the downloads on your click don't show my number so not sure if would work.
Thanks anyway!

It's more than likely that the Intel(R) 536EP driver will work. See:

Apparently (from searches) that is the correct driver. click here To be sure, what other numbers are listed on the modem?

Thanks for the advice which I was unable to continue with last night.
Have dowloaded and will advise this evening.

I have a driver for this modem!

If you would like me to mail it to you , contact me through the envelope and I'll forward it as an attachment.

Maj & Stuartli
Even though Windows insists the best driver is in the system, when trying to set up an account, the modem is not recognised and there is no dialing sound from a phone on the same line.
I will save from MaxUpload and tick as resolved.
Thank you both for your advice.
