driver for my scanner?

hi i have been given a relisys genie 4600 scanner but without the driver for it is there a safe and trusted site where i can download the driver for it and is it free?thanks in advance

hi downloaded the driver it installed ok then i done test scan which it also done and said it worked but there was nowhere on my screen or in pc to start the scanner then i had to reinstall it to get it up again it kept going so far then shut my pc down?????got that from tecno or whatever you call that site

As it says in the Read Me on the site it's not guaranteed to work. Maybe it's time to invest in a new scanner!.

the scanners brand new and is of sentimental value to my sister other wise i would just buy one

The scanner will work (or should) when you actually use the software to scan images.

The driver mentioned above is under 600k - a software programme will be a fairly large MB size.

Unfortunately the Relysis website is under reconstruction, so it's difficult to find out what software is used.

You may recall that the company ran into difficulties recently but is maintaining its after sales service.

At less than 600k that's probably a Twain driver, you may need something like Photofiltre click here with an acquire image facility. Nico's Photocopier click here may also be of use.

thanks for your help i went away and bought a new one but hung on to the driverless one maybe i,l get drivers for it one day thanks again
