driver install problems

i have recently had to reinstall all software on my computer due to system crash,i received help from engineer over the phone.got everything reinstalled but have now come accross a problem for which i am unable to find an answer for.

i am using windows xp homw sp2,the problems i am encountering are--- multimedia audio controller unable to find drivers.error\not configured properly code1. second problem,pci modem error code 1.
last problem video controller vga compatable properties drivers not installed error code28.

i have used trouble shooter but that could not help sort out the problem of no sounds other than system sounds coming from my speakers.the sounds and audio page containing volume controls ect: is greyed out and unusable can any of you nice people help me in trying to get this sorted so i can listen to my music on the computer. the sound card came pre installed on my system. if you can help i would be greatful. thankyou in advance

Its a drivers problem, you will need to reinstal them. You should have sone cd's that came with the system with the drivers on them, if not do you have the origonal specs for the pc or the make/model of the pc so we can look for you?

thanks for prompt reply

the only disc that came with my computer was the system recovery disc all software was pre-installed everything on disc was reloaded after the crash. details of my system

microsoft windows xp home sp2
intel(r) celeron(r) cpu2.60ghz
224mb ram.
EI Systems 4416 cel2.6m

Sorry to take so long click here={0943792c-7eb9-4865-9752-aa8884a0aa80}&CatID={c87eb968-7684-41ae-b0fe-c5768e9895a7} and download then instal the sound driver. Graphics Driver click here choose Windows XP and then IGP Graphics then SIS650

Stilll got to source the HSP MR-8640L modem

thankyou to all those good people out there who have tried to help me with my driver problems.

due to a server error in '/'application for audio zip files i am unable to install the required audio drivers at this time my problem is being sorted by tech support to try and sort out the problem it seems a file which should be on my system is missing this is called smart image.
