driver identification

I have a acer travelmate 292lmi running windows xp I recently had to use my cd recovery discs and also had to reload windows some of the hardware software did not load.
Multimedia audio controller.
Network controller.
PCI modem.
Video controller(vga compatible).
I am trying to find the correct drivers I would appreciate some help.

I do need to identify network controller and pci modem as I use an external network controller and run broadband.

download siw it is a free tool that identifies your equipment and this should allow you to go to the manufacturers site to download the drivers

Always start at the Manufacturers Support site

Go here click here

Select Notebook > Travelmate then tick "Show all models" From the list choose Travelmate 290

If you get stuck and can access the internet, the free version of Driver Max can help. Free version id slower than paid for, but is useful.

Bremner I took your advice and went to the manufacturers support site.
I think the 292lmi must be the 290d model as it is the only 290 model with the ati video card.Thanks everybody for your help.
