What is the best way of checking that drivers up to date.

If its working, don't fix it.

But if you need to check get into 'device manager', Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager.

From here you can right click on any hardware installed, click on the properties, then the driver tab to check the date and version number.

Once you have this information go to the hardware manufacturers website and check for any new drivers.

Alternatly, on the drivers tab click 'update driver'. Windows will ask if its ok to check the internet for any new ones. Follow any prompts that appear.

I would suggest that if you are using win XP you set a system restore point before updating any drivers, just in case new ones cause a problem.

You can also Roll Back to a previous driver from Device Manager if, by any chance, you do have problems.
