Drive Image 5 and boot virus

When creating an image with Drive Image 5, my PC sometimes reports that there is a boot virus. No details of the virus are given.

I always keep my virus definitions updated (I use NAV 2003) and in fact I did a scan before creating an image last night and no viruses were found. This has always been the case whenever I have run a full system scan.

The strange thing is that this doesn't happen every time I try to create an image and never happens when the systme boots and I am not creating in image.

Can anyone throw some light on this?

Many thanks.

You get this if you have AV enabled in your Bios.Disable it and no more false alarms[it misidentifies the low level activity of DI as a boot virus].

Thanks Leo49.

I was fairly confident that I did not have a virus and your explanation has put my mind at rest.
