Dreamweaver templates.

I find the ability to use templates in Dream Weaver very powerful.

However pages produced from a template (and still linked to that template) seem stuck with the template's original page title, description and all other meta data.

Does anyone know a way of changing the meta data for pages generated using a template?

As far as I can see there is no way for making the meta data editable in template documents.

When I use template I insert the following code for page titles and meta tags.

<!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="doctitle" -->
<title>Your page title here</title>
<!-- InstanceEndEditable -->

It's the same for the meta tags but you just give it a different name= in the 1st bit of code

<!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="metetagdescription" -->

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<meta name="ROBOTS" content="INDEX,FOLLOW">
<meta name="description" content="your description">
<meta name="keywords" content="your keywords">

<!-- InstanceEndEditable -->

I hope this helps

Thanks, Slowhand_1000. What you've told me is very useful. At least I know it's possible which is very encouraging.
