Dreamweaver 8 Updated to 8.0.2

Hi there
I am a novice so if my question sounds simple it's because I am!!
Created website using 'D8' and on pages included a navigation area using flash buttons added by using 'insert-media-flashbutton' from menu.
I recently updated to 8.0.2 which is the latest update.
When revising some pages I recall a message appearing with a yes or no option (cannot remember message).
I am now trying to add another flash button to my pages along with the existing ones on my navigation bar, however when I use the previous method, it doesn't insert the 'personalised button' in this case I wanted it as 'guestbook'. It inserts a square image with the flash logo on it.
Any ideas, has the updater changed any behaviours anywhere?
Tearing out what hair I have left, look forward to a reply.

as if DreamWeaver can't find the appropriate Flash file. The fact that you saw a message could be relevant, and it's a pity you can't recall what it said.

It seems that since I upddated Dreamweaver 8 to 8.0.2.
Whenever I try to install a flashbutton, all I get is a small square with the flash logo.
I click on the flash button option and the box opens with the choice of buttons, I type in my requirements and press 'OK', but I still get the small square and not the chosen flash button.
It's gettin' a bit frustrating now, any help would be much appreciated
