draw table in a colour, not in black

I've got a temporary problem because black is not printing on my printer - I can change the FONT colour in a table, but the table itself remains black, so it doesn't show when I print it - how can I change the table colour?

Right click the table-select borders and shading-ensure 'all' is selected and on the right you will see colour-choose suitable colour and line width-click OK.

In word, select the table in its entirety, select format / borders & shading then in the colour drop down, select the colour you want
