A little more information please. Are you left clicking/holding the mouse to drag/drop the file or folder?

I've not come across this one before. Just so that others will fully understand. Are you saying that when you click and hold a file/folder it will not move with the cursor or does it move but refuse to stay in the new location?

If you can answer that please Bevlee, then someone through the night shift or early in the morning will find the answer. I'll come back to the thread in the morning to see how you get on . j.

download and run these two free applications. The only info I can find at the moment is either a virus or a damaged/corrupt file.

If it is a corrupt file then it can be replaced but try these first.

Adaware. click here

Spybot S &D click here

Also let us know if you have made any changes to your PC or downloaded anything just prior to this happening. The more info the better.

Don't worry about this though as one of the forum members will soon have you back up and running.
