I've been having numerous problems with my PC and replaced both mobo and processor (they were due anyway!!) as on startup everything started spinning as normal but then nothing came up on display. I seemed to get round this problem until this morning again when the same thing happened. To check this was not a dvi cable issue i plugged in my vga monitor and lo and behold there was a message saying - ' DQS Training Failed on previous boot - Reverted to slower RAM speeed. Press PF1 to continue'
Has anyone seen this message before. Virtually the only component I have not replaced is the RAM. Could the RAM be faulty??
I'm running a M3N78-EMH mobo withan AM2 3800 processor in. I also have a 5000 processor and couldn't get this to work but this is probably because of the above problem. I've got 2 gig of generic RAM installed.
